Rachel and Bryan's Riverboat Wedding

Everybody knows boat weddings are fun. And, Rachel and Bryan's wedding aboard The Newport Princess was a really fun one! It's great being out on the water and seeing the sites in the background rolling by minute by minute in front of your eyes. Being on a Mississippi style riverboat also gives you the feeling of nostalgia too. Check out Rachel's dad's great mustache.

For Katherine and Bryan, It's "Destiny"...

Katherine and Bryan made their vows to each other in February aboard The Destiny on a night that featured a beautiful sunset in Newport Harbor. Right before they headed off for their honeymoon that night, we captured a photo on the circular stairway at the stern.

Amanda and Mathew's First Dance Surprise

So, there they were; Amanda and Mathew having a romantic first dance when all of the sudden- the music abruptly stops and changes into a boomin' funky dance mix. I was tipped off in advance of course. But, the crowd was in a state of shock for a second or two until they realized it was all rehearsed. Then, a loud roar of laughter and applause as the couple strutted their stuff on the dance floor on Valentine's night. They really pulled it off well. Practice did indeed make perfect!

Mindy and Jordan's Wedding at Old World Village

Mindy and Jordan were married at Old World Church in Huntington Beach this past weekend where I have been referred since 1983. I had an opportunity to get this group photo while I was standing on the steps of the church right after the ceremony concluded and everyone had just entered the cobblestone street where visitors make their way around the European style village. We then made our way downstairs to the Banquet Hall for the reception!

A few words about George "Flash" Fenton

I ran into my mentor tonight; the great George "Flash" Fenton of Fenton Photography. I worked for George's studio in Anaheim in the early 80s and learned a million things from him about photography and life too. He was the official photographer for the California Angels back in the early 70s, photographed thousands of weddings including Ronald Reagan son's wedding, portraits of numerous celebrities, multiple commercial assignments etc. He's been a photographic legend in Orange County for over 45 years. It was fantastic seeing him again. As far as I'm concerned, George will always be "the man"....

Anastasia and Derek's Valentine's Day Wedding

Anastasia and Derek were married on Valentine's Day. After saying "I Do" and celebrating their reception with approx. 100 guests, we took some time to get some romantic poses for their soon-to-be-created wedding album. I look forward to designing it for them....
