Start of the Newport Ensenada Boat Race

Had a great time shooting the start of the Newport Ensenada Boat Race on Friday morning just off the starting line at the Balboa Pier. Aboard the Spirit of Newport, I was able to experience it up close. Almost 300 boats were entered in the race.

Wendy and Tyson

Summer seemed to be just around the bend last Sunday night as Wendy and Tyson shared their wedding vows to each other in Newport Harbor. We've had fantastic luck with the weather this year. I can recall several times when it rained on one day only to be bright and sunny as the wedding day arrived. It looks like Wendy and Tyson will be happy together come rain or shine...

Abby and Chip

Abby and Chip's wedding was on April 4th. The photo shows the happy couple celebrating their first dance as a married couple to the music of the lovely and talented DJ/MC Tyler Murray (www.TylerMurray.com). Abby and Chip are really nice people. It's easy to see how happy they are together. We wish them all the best life has to offer....

Patricia and Daniel cruise into married bliss!

Patricia and Daniel said their vows in March aboard the circa 1925 yacht The Electra which today can handle weddings of up to approx. 100 people. Even though it was a bit chilly in the early evening, the wedding party met my request to get some group shots out on the bow. I am pleased to report we didn't lose anyone overboard....:-)

Michelle and Jason wed aboard The Eternity

Michelle and Jason recently tied the knot aboard The Eternity, one of the largest yachts on the water in Southern California. The top photo shows the happy couple as we approached the historical Balboa Pavilion ahead and to the starboard side. It was a real pleasure photographing their wedding.

"March Madness" at Brandi and Dan's Wedding

Brandi and Dan's wedding last weekend was aboard The Athena in Newport Harbor. I was so impressed that the groom and his groomsmen as well as the bride and bridesmaids were ready ahead of the scheduled start time before the ceremony for photos to be taken. But once the vows were said, they were pronounced husband and wife, and the formal photos were taken, the party got started...
